Ivermectin and Gynecologic Cancer: What are the data?

Ivermectin, a widely used antiparasitic agent, has recently attracted attention for its potential off-target anticancer effects. In gynecologic malignancies—particularly ovarian and endometrial cancers—emerging in vitro and in vivo studies suggest that ivermectin may inhibit tumor cell proliferation, induce apoptosis, and enhance the efficacy of standard chemotherapeutics.
